The City of White Rock is a strong supporter of the film industry and endeavors to provide efficient procedures for obtaining the City authorization necessary for filming-on-location in White Rock.

The Recreation and Culture Department is pleased to be able to provide first contact information and coordination such as; filming guidelines, application forms, business license for filming and rental of  locations and services.

Film Permit Guidelines

Complete a film application and submit it to the City at least two weeks before filming is planned. Film permit applications should be submitted for approval to:

White Rock, BC V4B 0A6
Phone: 604-541-2161 or 604-541-2199

Submission of an application does not guarantee issuance of a permit. Film applications are reviewed and once approval-in-principle is given, the City will invoice the film production company for any fees according to their request submitted in the permit application and issue the permit.
