Biography
On March 21, 2012, Dan Bottrill was appointed as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the City of White Rock. As described in the Community Charter, the CAO is appointed by Council to manage and direct all City employees. The CAO is responsible for the implementation of Council policies and directives, providing input and advice to Council on policy-related issues, as well as assisting Council in setting corporate goals.

Dan has over 25 years of executive leadership experience working in local government. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, he previously held the positions of Director Corporate Services, which included Finance, with the City of Abbotsford, and was the Deputy City Manager at the City of Surrey.
