Join us at the 72nd annual White Rock Sea Festival and Semiahmoo Days, presented by Waste Connections of Canada, for free family-fun and entertainment for all ages.

Outdoor Movie in Semiahmoo Park |
The festival kicks off with an outdoor movie showing “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.” Bring your chairs and picnic blankets early to get a good spot. The movie will start at dusk at approximately 9:15 p.m. and gates open at 7 p.m. |
Semiahmoo Days in Semiahmoo Park |
12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Kids Zone featuring princess & superheroes, carnival games, mini golf, bubbles, crafts and a bouncy pirate ship. Come dressed as your favourite princess, superhero or mermaid! |

Environmental Zone at East Beach |
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Learn about the ocean and Boundary Bay habitat with waterfront guided walks, environmental education booths and an interactive build-a-whale puzzle exhibit made from the actual bones of a killer whale. Exhibitors are Build a Whale, OceanWise, Recycle BC, Friends of Semiahmoo Bay, Parks Canada, Little Campbell Watershed Society, Hancock Wildlife Foundation, Delta Naturalists, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Nature Kids, and Semiahmoo Arts - Art Hive. |

11 a.m. | Watch the sculptor in front of the White Rock Museum create a Mermaid sand sculpture |
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. | In Memorial Park, climb the 25 foot Tiki rock climbing wall, try the robo surfer and snap a selfie with a mermaid |
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Walk to the end of the Pier and take a boat tour of the White Rock Waterfront from White Rock Sea Tours. Tours are 15 minutes long for $25 per person. |

New this year is the Environmental Zone where you will learn about the ocean and Boundary Bay habitat, environmental education booths and an interactive build-a-whale puzzle exhibit made from the actual bones of a killer whale.
Guided walks with Friends of Semiahmoo Bay
Saturday, August 5
1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
Learn about eelgrass and some of the special creatures that call Semiahmoo Bay home. To attend a walk, visit the Friends of Semiahmoo Bay tent.
Fireworks
Saturday, Aug. 5
10:15 p.m.
Fireworks, sponsored by Thrifty Foods, light up the skies with a spectacular display on Saturday starting at 10:15 p.m. View the show from anywhere along the waterfront.
Memorial Park
Saturday & Sunday, Aug. 5 - 6
11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
View the mermaid sand sculpture performance art, ride the Robotic Surfer, climb the 25-foot Tiki Island Climbing Wall (Sat. only) or snap a selfie with the Roving Mermaids, Mermaid Kaida, Nerdmaid Faith, and Mermaid Danielle.
Pilates on the Beach

East Beach

Start your morning with a one-hour Pilates session.
This fun and invigorating Pilates class offers challenging, yet low-impact core strengthening exercises and stretches that will improve your balance, body awareness, flexibility and core strength.
Please bring a yoga mat, hand towel, sunscreen, sunhat and water
Salmon BBQ

Starts at 11:30 a.m.
The Semiahmoo First Nation will be offering the traditional salmon bbq, while quantities last, in Semiahmoo Park.
Vendor Marketplace
Saturday & Sunday, Aug. 5 - 6
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Take a stroll down the White Rock Promenade on West Beach from the White Rock Museum to Bayview Park and visit local artisans, community groups and vendors.
The Vendor Marketplace is presented by the White Rock Museum & Archives.
Boat Tours
Saturday & Sunday, Aug. 5 - 6
11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Walk to the end of the pier and take a tour of the White Rock waterfront with White Rock Sea Tours.
Tours are $25 per person for a 15 minute tour. There are 12 seats per boat.
Westcoasters Car Show
Sunday, Aug. 6
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Attend the Westcoaster’s Daze 19th Annual Car Show n’ Shine on Sunday, Aug. 6 starting at 9 a.m. and check out the cars (all years, makes and models), motorcyles, and boats. There will be music, 50/50 draws, tshirts, and and award at 2:30 p.m. Supported by the Westcoasters Car Club.
Getting to the waterfront
Please note there is no no trolley or courtesy shuttle to the event.
Parking
Semiahmoo Park Parking:
The parking lot beside Semiahmoo Park on Marine Drive will be open with a daily parking rate at $7 and evening parking after 5 p.m. at $5.
Waterfront Parking:
Hourly parking is available at the parking lots east and west of the Pier. The small parking lot at the head of the Pier will be closed for event parking.
Park at the 180 stall West Beach Parkade at Vidal Street and Victoria Avenue. Hourly and all day parking rates are available.
It is highly recommended to carpool, if possible.
Transit
Bus routes 361 and 362 will take people from Uptown White Rock to the Waterfront. Visit TransLink’s web page for route details.
