Join CARP for rollicking good times for a 60's & 70's themed celebration on Saturday, September 9 at the White Rock Community Centre from 2 to 4 p.m.  Events include:

• Live music with Billy White & Carolyn Neapole
• Root beer & wagon wheels
• Prize for best costume (Mini skirts, Go-Go Boots, Hippie Gear)
• Door prizes, 50/50 Draw

National Grandparents’ Day is a great reminder of the enormous benefits of forging strong relationships between grandparents and grandchildren. National Grandparents’ Day is a wonderful opportunity to remind elderly family members that they matter. After all, efforts to strengthen families shouldn’t stop at the nuclear family. Older generations and younger generations have valuable emotional support to let to one another, and lots of love to give.
