Paint the Beach, a Plein Air painting competition takes place Saturday, July 6.
The Semiahmoo Arts Society hosts "Paint the Beach," a Plein Air painting competition on Saturday, July 6 in Memorial Park.
Painters are invited to join the painting competition for the chance to win a prize!
Event Details: You only have 4 hours to work on your piece and work will not be accepted if it is worked on prior or after the event Semiahmoo Arts Society will be supplying 1 canvas (12" x 16") or 1 piece of water colour paper to each participant. After completing your painting, title to your work and drop it off to the Semiahmoo Arts Society staff member. All finished works will be brought and hung in the Turnbull Gallery for a month-long exhibition dedicated to this event as well as work done by the students in the Plein Air classes. The exhibition will be from July 10 - August 20, 2024, with a closing reception on August 20 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
