International Overdose Awareness Walk

"Tides of Change" WRSS Community Action Team hosts the International Overdose Awareness Walk in Memorial Park on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. The walk brings awareness of the toxic drug crisis deaths and more understanding and compassion.

The event will have an opening ceremony, naloxone training, resource tables, live music, and a candlelight vigil. Everyone is welcome.


  • 5 p.m. Opening ceremony
  • 6 p.m. hand across the pier and BBQ
  • 7 p.m. resource tables and activities
  • 8 p.m. candlelight ceremony & lighting of the Pier
