Several organizations in our community gratefully accept donations of food, clothing, and supplies to help those who need them most.

Lunch Program - Items such pasta, sauces, juice, coffee, coffee mate, granola bars, baked goods, and fruit are accepted on Fridays between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Christmas Dinner - Find out how you can support this annual free Christmas dinner held December 25 at the White Rock Baptist Church. Call 604-542-4357.

Please note that clothing donations are not accepted at this time.

Daytime Warming Centre

Food items and other supplies are needed and gratefully accepted. Information about what is needed and how to donate can be found on the centre's webpage in the link above. Please note that clothing donations are not accepted at this time.

Monetary donations may also be made to the daytime warming centre. Donations will be placed in a reserve fund designated for the operation of this facility. Make a monetary donation to the daytime warming centre online. Alternatively, large amounts ($5,000+) can be made by personal or company cheque at City Hall. 

White Rock Pantry Project

The pantry is located at the back of the parking lot at Johnston Road and Russell Avenue next to the large mural wall of the Oceana Parc Playhouse Theatre. Items can be dropped off 24/7. 

Items needed include canned food; baking supplies; dried food such as lentils, peas, beans, soup mix, pasta, rice; drinks such as coffee, tea, juice, V8; pet food, canned and dry, treats, litter; toiletries such as toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, Kleenex, lotion, feminine pads and tampons, bandaids, wipes, dish soap.
