Pay parking is in effect year-round throughout the City of White Rock at the waterfront parking lots, parkades, Centennial Arena and on street parking at Peace Arch Hospital. 

Parking revenue is used for parking-related costs and services such as TransLink parking tax, annual lease payment to BNSF, parking maintenace and utilities. Waterfront Parking

Pay parking is in effect from 10 a.m. to midnight. Please observe posted signage at all pay parking areas. All parking east of Oxford Street is limited to 4 hours maximum, excluding the parkades.

West Beach Parkade is open for public use from 8:00am to midnight, 7-days a week, unless otherwise posted. Gates lock automatically shortly after midnight.

Pay-Parking Rates

SUMMER SEASON - March to October - 7-days a week - all lot and on-street waterfront parking locations, including parkades:

• 20 Minutes: $1.50
• 40 Minutes: $3.00
• 60 Minutes: $4.50

Daily rate for Montecito and West Beach Parkades: $16.00

WINTER SEASON - November to February - 7 days a week - all lot and on-street waterfront parking locations, including parkades:

• 20 Minutes: $1.00
• 40 Minutes: $1.75
• 60 Minutes: $2.50

Daily rate for Montecito and West Beach Parkades: $8.00

Centennial Arena

Pay parking is in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

Pay-parking Rate

• Meter parking: $1.25 per hour
• Dispenser lots: $2.25 per day

Peace Arch Hospital Street Parking

Pay parking is in effect from 10 a.m. to midnight. Please observe posted signage at all pay parking areas. Peace Arch Hospital Street parking must be purchased at the parking meters, not at the hospital parking stations.

• $3 per hour, seven (7) days a week

Free Parking for Veterans 

Vehicles displaying veteran or Memorial Cross licence plates receive free year-round parking in White Rock.

Pay-Parking Technology

The City of White Rock utilizes PayByPhone for waterfront parking along Marine Drive. This pay-by-space system allows you to:

• purchase parking time, no need to put a ticket on your dashboard
• add to existing parking time at any dispenser, or by using your cell phone based on the number on your parking space. 

These solar-powered dispensers are easy to use and take cash or credit. A credit card is required to set up a pay by phone account with PayByPhone.
