Tree Planting with Council and the Lower Mainland Green Team

Join White Rock Mayor Megan Knight and council as they celebrate the planting of 752 native trees and shrubs in Ruth Johnson Park on Saturday October 5 at 9 a.m.

The trees will be planted thanks to Green Teams of Canada and its Lower Mainland Green Team securing a grant of $10,136 from TD Tree Days.

Several trees will be planted, including two beautiful bigleaf maples. These events restore habitat, preserve our natural areas, and strengthen our community partnerships.
