Here is what’s open and closed at the City of White Rock for the holidays in December 2019 and January 2020.
White Rock City Hall
City Hall, 15322 Buena Vista Ave., will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 25 to Jan. 1, reopening on Jan. 2.
Engineering and Municipal Operations
The Engineering and Municipal Operations Building, 877 Keil St., will be closed Dec. 25, Dec. 26 and Jan. 1. Regular operating hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Waste Pickup
Some waste pickup dates change over the holidays. Collection on:
- Wednesday, Dec. 25 will be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 24
- Thursday, Dec. 26 will be picked up on Friday, Dec. 27
- Wednesday, Jan. 1 will be picked up on Thursday, Jan. 2

White Rock Community Centre
During the holidays, the White Rock Community Centre will be closed:
- Dec. 21
- Dec. 25-26
- Dec. 28
- Jan. 1
Regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Parking Decals
Parking Decals are available for purchase at City Hall during business hours or at the White Rock Community Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kent Street Community Centre
The Kent Street Community Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Centre will be closed:

- Dec. 28
- Jan. 1
- Jan. 4
Centennial Park Leisure Centre—Office
The Centennial Park Leisure Centre arena office will be open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The arena office will be closed:

Holiday Activities
2019-20 Holiday Break Skates
Come enjoy a holiday skate with the family daily from Dec. 21 to 24 and Dec. 27 to Jan. 5. Skates are available every day throughout the holiday break except for Dec. 25 and 26.
- Stick n’ Puck for parents and kids 5 to 12 years from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Family Skate for up to five people from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
