[ARCHIVED] Stage 1 Water Restrictions begin May 1

Outdoor water restrictions are automatically implemented each year. To support and promote sustainable water practices, outdoor watering restrictions will be in effect from May 1 to October 15.

STAGE 1 RESTRICTIONS | MAY 1

Residential lawn sprinkling is permitted:

  • Even numbered addresses can use sprinklers between 4 a.m. - 9 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. 
  • Odd numbered addresses can use sprinklers between 4 a.m. - 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. 

Note: multi-family dwellings are considered even or odd according to the building number, not the unit number.

Non-residential lawn sprinkling is permitted:

  • Even numbered addresses can use sprinklers between 1 a.m. - 6 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday, and 4 a.m. - 9 a.m. on Friday. 
  • Odd numbered addresses can use sprinklers   between 1 a.m. - 6 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and 4 a.m. - 9 a.m. on Friday 


These restrictions apply only to lawns; Hand watering of gardens, shrubs, trees, and flower beds is permitted. When washing a boat or vehicle, water hoses must be equipped with an automatic shut-off device.
