In response to Environment Canada’s heat warning issued for June 25 to 29, the City of White Rock will open the White Rock Community Centre as a cooling station on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
White Rock residents are welcome to stop in, cool off and drink some water. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-30s C, and higher with humidity.
Provincial health and safety protocols will be in place, including COVID-19 screening, sanitizing stations, mask requirements and physical distancing.
