Here’s what’s opened, closed, and changed at City facilities for the holidays.
White Rock City Hall
White Rock City Hall will be closed from Monday, Dec. 25 to Jan. 1 and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
Engineering and Municipal Operations
The Engineering and Municipal Operations Building, 877 Keil St., is closed Dec. 25, Dec. 26, and Jan. 1. Regular operating hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Waste collection will take place on Tuesday, December 26. Crews will be working on Boxing Day and there are no collection changes the week of Dec. 25 to 29, 2023.

Recreation Facilities:
- Centennial Arena, 14600 North Bluff Road
Open for Holiday Break Skates Dec. 23 to Jan. 6, 2024 (closed Dec. 25) from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Check out the skating schedule and rental information at whiterockcity.ca/skate
- Kent Street Activity Centre, 1475 Kent Street
Closed Dec. 23 to Jan. 1 and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
- White Rock Community Centre, 15154 Russell Avenue
Closed Dec. 23 to Jan 1 and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
- The Centre for Active Living, 1475 Anderson Street
City recreation programs are closed Dec. 23 to Jan. 1 and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
- Centennial Park Leisure Centre
Closed Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1 and open Dec. 27, 28 and 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Online Services
Many City services are available online at whiterockcity.ca/online including purchasing 2024 parking decals and permits, submitting a request for service, and making online payments.
