The Torchlight Parade returns to the White Rock waterfront as part of the White Rock Sea Festival and Semiahmoo Days on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Whether you represent a marching band, a business, or a community organization, the City of White Rock invites you to register to participate in the 33rd annual Torchlight Parade.
This year, the parade returns to its original Torchlight essence. In the spirit of the event, participants are requested to have a light up component to their entry, with the procession starting at 8:30 p.m. from West Beach and continuing down Marine Drive to East Beach.
“We are excited to bring back the Torchlight Parade to Marine Drive,” said City of White Rock Mayor Megan Knight. “We invite everyone to come out and celebrate this cherished tradition and be one of the first to see the new city parade float.”
