The City of White Rock is seeking the public’s feedback to allow dogs on the Promenade from April 1 to September 30, during the hours of 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Residents, visitors to White Rock and local businesses can complete a survey by June 14 at talkwhiterock.ca
City Council approved a motion to receive public comment at the May 13, 2024 Regular Council meeting. Watch the meeting here.
Facts about dogs in White Rock
- Dogs are permitted on-leash on the Promenade from October 1 to March 30
- Dogs are not allowed on the White Rock Pier at any time
- Dogs in White Rock must be leashed and licenced
- Owners must pick up after their pets and dispose of the feces in garbage cans
