Supportive business environment
The City of White Rock is fostering an environment that supports business, draws employment, and encourages enhanced living standards.
Through the development of an updated Economic Development Strategic Plan, the City is taking a long-term approach to economic development, setting targets and considering new policies. The City is looking at the needs of each of its commercial areas, including the Waterfront and Uptown areas.
The City has an active and engaged Chamber of Commerce and BIA, both of which provide support and assistance to businesses.
The Economic Development Advisory Committee, a committee of Council, advises City Council and staff regarding matters related to economic investment in White Rock.

There are more than 300 small businesses in White Rock, offering a variety of services to the community.
