[ARCHIVED] Jingle Bell White Rock brings Santa Claus, lights up the night, Dec. 7

Jingle Bell White Rock

The White Rock BIA, The South Surrey and White Rock Chamber of Commerce, the White Rock Museum and Archives and the City of White Rock are presenting an afternoon of festive, family fun on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Jingle Bell White Rock runs from 2 to 6 p.m. at Memorial Park on Marine Drive. Admission to all events is free. The Christmas Craft Fair at the museum is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Here’s a snapshot of the day’s events:

  • 2 to 6 p.m.
    Christmas crafts, music and live performances  

  • 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
    Photos with Santa Claus
    Kids’ photos starting at 2:30 p.m.; Photos with pets from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
      
  • 4:30 p.m. 
    Launch of Festival of Lights featuring a lighting ceremony in Memorial Park with Mayor Darryl Walker and members of City Council

Christmas Craft Fair at the White Rock Museum and Archives

Celebrate the magic of the season as the White Rock Museum and Archives gallery transforms into a holiday market with more than 20 local artisans. The Museum and Archives are open seven days a week, including Saturday and Sunday. Admission is by donation. Visit www.whiterockmuseum.ca

Festival of Lights presented by the White Rock Festival of Lights Society  

The White Rock Festival of Lights Society, in collaboration with the City of White Rock, the White Rock BIA and the South Surrey and White Rock Chamber of Commerce, businesses and community groups, is staging a magical holiday lights event on White Rock’s waterfront from Dec. 7 to Jan. 5.
