The City of White Rock is installing new pay stations around Peace Arch Hospital, replacing the single-space, coin-operated meters at the on-street City pay parking stalls.
The new pay stations will provide customers with a range of convenient payment options, such as coin, credit card, and Pay-By-Phone services.
The Pay-By-Phone option allows customers to add parking time from wherever they are without having to return to the meter. The Pay-by-Phone location code is #1845.
A pay-by-plate method of payment will allow customers to pay and go without having to return to their vehicle to display a receipt of payment on the dash or recall a parking stall number when making their purchase.
Customers will have the ability to pay for parking or add time using any of the City-owned pay stations at the hospital.
The City will post new signage and remove the existing equipment when the new dispensers begin operating in early 2020.
