The City of White Rock is welcoming visitors from White Rock and South Surrey, encouraging others to stay close to home in line with the current Provincial travel restrictions.
Restrictions for non-essential travel in B.C. are in place until May 25 to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and variants of concern.
The Province has said not to take long trips within individual regions, specifically:
- Now is not the time for overnight vacations away from your community.
- Stay close to home.
- Visit your local beach, hiking trail or park.
The City encourages visitors who are outdoors in busy places—like the Waterfront Promenade, the White Rock Pier, Marine Drive and Johnston Road and North Bluff Road—to wear masks when they can’t stay two metres apart.
