The City of White Rock has been approved to receive $25,000 in provincial emergency preparedness funding from the Province of B.C. to support the work of emergency operations centres.
The intent of this funding stream is to buy equipment and supplies to maintain or improve the emergency operations centre and to enhance the capacity of these local emergency co-ordination hubs through training and exercises.
