The City of White Rock will be supporting the White Rock Legion Branch 8 for an in-person Remembrance Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the Cenotaph at White Rock City Hall to honour the sacrifices made by Canadian war veterans.
The Remembrance Ceremony will start at 10:45 a.m. Here is what you can expect at the event:

- Recognition of Donated Wreaths
A Flyover Salute will take place at 11 a.m. Please note that the Remembrance Day Parade has been postponed to 2022.
Everyone is welcome, keeping in mind to protect our Veterans and most vulnerable from COVID-19, masks are recommended and you are asked to distance yourself from others. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.
Poppy Campaign
On the 100th year of the poppy as Canada's symbol of Remembrance, help us honour and remember all those who wore a uniform for Canada. Every year, The Royal Canadian Legion conducts the Poppy Campaign, along with members who volunteer, to raise funds in support of Veterans and their families.
White Rock Museum and Archives Exhibit
The White Rock Museum & Archives is proud to present our exhibit Lest We Forget: White Rock During the War Years. The exhibit will be shown in our galleries until Nov. 14, 2021.
The war years of 1914-1918 and 1939-1945 influenced the lives of all Canadians. The White Rock Museum & Archives’ annual exhibit – Lest We Forget: White Rock During the War Years remembers the people who participated in the war efforts both overseas and at home and looks at how the wars impacted all aspects of life in White Rock.
Visit the White Rock Museum & Archives at 14970 Marine Drive in the historic 1912 train station on the waterfront, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday.
