Please attend the official naming event of Grand Chief Bernard Robert Charles (Pa-Kwach-Tun) Memorial Plaza. Members of Semiahmoo First Nation, including Chief Harley Chappell, will be present to provide remarks.
The plaza was dedicated in 2009 to the memory of the widely respected Semiahmoo First Nation Grand Chief Bernard Robert Charles (Pa-Kwach-Tun), who led the nation from 1963-1996. Wednesday’s event will serve to officially name the plaza and will include its sign unveiling. Refreshments to follow. This event is open to the public.
