Excess logs from the winter storms along the beach, near the Pier and on beach access ramps will be removed to prevent damage to pilings of the Pier and maintain accessibility to the beach.
Log removal work will take place until early March 2024. Crews and equipment will be working to cut the logs down during low tides and load them into a disposal bin in the beach parking lots.
Signage, fencing and plywood protection will be set up and relocated as operations move along the Promenade. Please respect the working crews as they work to complete this in a safe and efficient manner.
