Digital Public Information Meeting - Zoning Bylaw Amendment - 1363 Johnston Road
Thursday, April 29, 2021
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce a Zoning Bylaw Amendment which, if approved, would change the zoning of the subject property from the Lower Town Centre Area Commercial / Residential (CR-2) Zone to a Comprehensive Development (CD) Zone. The property-specific CD Zone would enable the construction of a four-storey mixed use building with 10 residential dwelling units and ground floor commercial space. A Major Development Permit application has also been received and would be used to regulate the “form and character” of development in accordance with the City’s Lower Town Centre Development Permit Area guidelines.
