The White Rock & South Surrey Cultural Crawl celebrates arts, culture and heritage across the Peninsula. Over two days, enjoy art and historical exhibits, music, tours, theatre, and enrich yourself in culture.

Eligibility
- Located/active in White Rock or South Surrey
- Offer activities that promote culture
- Have a venue to offer these activities in
- Have the capacity to be open for your program
- Have capacity to keep statistics related to number of visitors during the event
How to Participate
To take part in the Culture Crawl partner sites need to:
- Complete an online application form.
- Offer cultural programming opportunity that enhances the visitor experience and connects them to local culture
- Provide visitation statistics and general feedback after the event

Your application will be reviewed before it is approved. The Culture Crawl team will be in touch with you.
Partner participants and sites are responsible for securing their own venue.
In general, it is free to register and participate.
However, if you are participating at a craft market, the organizers may ask for a table or space fee.
No, this event is focused on opening culture spaces and experiences to the public and each artist is asked to manage their own programs.
Yes! Artists and Cultural Creators can sell they personal art, original recordings etc.
A person who practices creative arts including but not limited to curatorship, design, textile arts, visual arts, performing arts, musicians, literary arts, film and heritage interpretation.
Partner participants and sites offer a range of activities based on the nature of their organization and capacity to host visitors. Activities can include, but are not limited to, backstage tours, Q&A sessions, musical performances, exhibitions, short video screenings and cultural demonstrations, etc.

Partner sites are responsible for providing their own staff and volunteers. Event volunteers, organized by Culture Crawl team, will be stationed at key locations around the city to assist with wayfinding and provide general event information.
Partner sites and participants will need to fill out an application. In anticipation of approval the main contact person will need to provide a publishable photograph and submit a short promotional sentence or two outlining the program and what visitors will experience.

The City of White Rock is hosting a space at the Centennial Arena Hall for artists who wish to display and sell their work. There are limited spots and no late applications will be considered. Deadline: July 31
