The Motion Picture Community Initiative (MPCI) celebrates British Columbia’s thriving motion picture industry. The Motion Picture Production Industry Association formed the industry-funded initiative to recognize the important partnership between B.C.'s motion picture industry and the community. Under the pillars of community engagement, industry stewardship, and recognizing excellence, MPCI highlights the positive impacts of the industry on the local community and engages in events and activations that give back to the neighbours who frequently host film crews.
