Permitted
Additions, alterations or improvements to any shrubs, trees and above grade landscape works on City boulevard must be approved by the City Engineer by way of a Road Alteration Permit.
Please ensure that all Road Alteration Permit Checklist requirements are reviewed and submitted along with your application form. Failure to have these items included will result in delays to processing your application.

Not Permitted
Permanent installations (such as in-ground irrigation systems and synthetic turf), retaining walls, fences and all other structures are not permitted to be constructed on a City boulevard. They must be constructed on private property unless prior permission is provided through a Road Alteration Permit.
