Fire Services awarded six (6) active members and two (2) retired members from White Rock Fire Rescue the Exemplary Service Medal. The Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal recognizes Canadian fire service members who have completed 20 years of service with Exemplary service, which is characterized by good conduct, industry, and efficiency.
Surrey Schools, Elgigible School Site Proposal
Council received and endorsed, in principle, a resolution from Surrey Schools regarding the 2023/2024 Eligible School Site Proposal. The District is proposing eight (8) new schools sites to be acquired, one to be expanded, plus one replacement site, to accommodate the anticipated growth in school-aged children,. All the proposed sites are in the City of Surrey.

Council endorsed the regular council meeting schedule for 2023. Meetings will take place on the following dates:
