With the unseasonably hot and dry conditions occurring in our region, it’s important to be vigilant in the prevention of fires.
Reminders:
- Open fires, campfires, and fireworks are banned
- No open burning is permitted in White Rock, including on the beach
- Be diligent in disposing of cigarettes especially around parks and trails. With the dry conditions, a cigarette butt that is not completely extinguished has the potential to cause a fire.
