Participate in nearly 50 arts and cultural opportunities in White Rock with the third annual Festival of the Arts. The two-month Festival features music, performances, art exhibitions, multi-cultural celebrations, a gala and more.
The festival seeks to include all arts and culture events that occur within the boundaries of White Rock from September 1 to October 31. The promotion allows residents a single source of information, links to dates and material, and other relevant news about these events.
New this year, the hashtag #FFOTA15 is being utilized on social media to further increase awareness and participation with these events in real time. Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag to share their pictures, stories and experiences throughout the festival.
The festival kicks off on August 29, 2015 with Paint the Town and culminates with a Halloween Dance with the Nikita & the Party Crashers on October 31 at Blue Frog Studios. Other highlights include the popular White Rock Moon Festival on September 25 and 26, and the exciting Festival of Lights: Diwali Integration 2015 on October 3.
