City Services will resume services on Tuesday 3 June. We appreciate residents and businesses patience as we reintroduce full services.
Resumption of Services
We will re-open all facilities and services counters during regular hours: Community Centre, Centennial Arena, Kent Street Activity Centre, and Operations and Engineering Facilities.
Garbage, Recycling and Green Waste
We will also resume garbage, recycling and green waste programs.
For the first two weeks of regular curb-side collection, householders will be able to put out additional garbage, recycling and green waste. No tags will be needed for overflow garbage. This will be in effect for two weeks only following service resumption.
On your regularly scheduled pick-up day, please leave materials at the curb until collected. Crews may be delayed in their routes.
Commercial garbage will be picked up on Tuesday 3 June. Commercial recycling will resume next week.
For latest updates, we would recommend signing up for our Recollect service. Access it on our Garbage and Recycling page under 'collection and schedule reminders.'
Leisure Services
All Leisure classes, programs and events will resume as of Tuesday 3 June. If you would like to register for a summer program, in-person and by phone registration will be available. As always, you can register online at webreg.whiterockcity.ca
