Collection Schedule
There is no change in the collection schedule for this week.
Property Taxes
Did you know that there are many options for paying your property taxes?
Pay Online
On your financial institution’s website search for “White Rock” and select the “Taxes” payee option. Use the 9-digit folio number on the front of this Property Tax Notice as the account number, without the decimal point after the 6th digit. Ensure your payment will be processed by the due date.
Telephone Banking
Contact your financial institution for instructions. Ensure your payment will be processed by the due date.
In Person at your Canadian Financial Institution
Ensure payment is processed by the due date. Most financial institutions no longer accept Home Owner Grant Applications. If eligible, submit your Home Owner Grant Application to City Hall or apply online by the due date.
Mail
Please write your folio number on the front of your cheque (your cancelled cheque is your receipt). Address mail to 15322 Buena Vista Avenue, White Rock BC, V4B 1Y6. Cheques can be post-dated to the Property Tax due date.
Payments and Home Owner Grant applications mailed to City Hall must be received by the Property Tax due date. The postmark is not accepted as the date of payment. Mail lost or delayed by the Post Office will be subject to penalty.
Drop Off Payment
Avoid line-ups, drop your payment and Home Owner Grant application, if eligible, accompanied by the remittance portion of your Property Tax Notice in the secure mail slot located outside at the main entrance of City Hall, 15322 Buena Vista Avenue, White Rock.
Mortgage Company
Remember to apply for your Home Owner Grant, if eligible, even if your taxes are paid through your mortgage company.
Cash, Cheques & Bank Drafts
Please make Cheques and Bank Drafts payable to The City of White Rock. Either may be postdated to the Property Tax due date. Incomplete items will not be processed. An administration fee will be charged for returned or dishonoured payments.
Debit Cards
Confirm with your financial institution that your daily transaction limit and balance are sufficient before you make your payment.
Credit cards are NOT accepted for Property Tax payments
