With the Miramar Village Phase 2 development underway, adjacent to Bryant Park, orange coloured tree protection fencing are in place to ensure the protection of trees during the construction process.
As part of the development and related tree management permit, three trees nearby will need to be removed by BOSA to reconstruct the lane connecting the existing Miramar Village and White Rock Community Centre through to Thrift Avenue. Trees within the protective barrier will not be removed, which is why steps were taken to place the fencing around them. And, as a part of completing its development project, BOSA is required to replant new street and onsite trees.
