The City launched the Official Community Plan (OCP) Review on May 13, 2015. The City has moved into Phase Two of the OCP Review Process. This Phase, which extends from August to November 2015, focuses on Defining the Big Picture. It builds on the results of the Visioning Survey and Visioning Fair and focuses on the development of new Vision and Goal Statements for the new OCP.
Ways to get involved and help Define the Big Picture:
- Join us at the Vision & Goals Open House on October 8, 2015. This drop-in event runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Centennial Leisure Centre Hall and will offer the opportunity to provide input on the draft vision and goal statements. The draft vision and goals will be developed in consideration of the input collected during the Vision Fair (May 2015), Visioning Survey (May-June, 2015) and Neighbourhood Workshop (September 17, 2015).
- Complete the Vision and Goals Survey. The survey will be released on October 8 and can be accessed at www.talkwhiterock.ca. Results of this survey will be presented to Council at the end of Phase 2.
