The first completed portion of Memorial Park, the widened promenade, will open at the beginning of July!
In order to complete the remainder of the upgrades, the parking lot located to the east of Memorial Park will be closed from June 18 until the end of the construction at Memorial Park.
We understand this is an inconvenience and left the parking lot open to the public for as long as possible. To help minimize the impact, the City is offering a FREE Waterfront Shuttle Bus with four stops along Marine Drive to help people move along the waterfront during construction (See the route map and some parking options to the right).
And, on weekends and select holidays and events, park in Uptown White Rock or at Centennial Arena to catch the Trolley. The Trolley makes stops throughout Uptown, and connects with Marine Drive at Victoria Avenue and Vidal street. View the Trolley route map and schedule at www.whiterockcity.ca/CityTransportation
