Last year we made significant changes in our waste collection service to single family homes by introducing the Green Can program, a yard trimmings and food scraps recycling program.
On October 1, 2012 we will make another positive change in our waste collection services in an effort to achieve the 70% solid waste diversion rate mandated by Metro Vancouver. At this time, garbage collection for single family dwellings will move to biweekly (every second week) collection. Collection for the Recycling and Green Can programs will remain weekly.
