Updated March 19, 2020
To keep the community safe and to help slow down the spread of COVID-19, the City of White Rock is temporarily closing City Hall as of 4:30 p.m. today and will be offering services by phone, email and online.
All City of White Rock-run buildings are now closed to the public. City Council meetings will continue and will be available by livestreaming at www.whiterockcity.ca/councilmeetings. Committee meetings are cancelled until the end of May 2020.
The closure decision was made to ensure the health and safety of visitors and employees, and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in White Rock and the Lower Mainland.
The City continues to provide essential services, such as Fire Rescue, RCMP Policing Services, water and solid waste collection. For up-to-date information, please visit www.whiterockcity.ca/covid19

Mayor Darryl Walker
“It is a difficult decision to make, to close City buildings to the public. However, the health and safety of our residents and employees is our top concern. We are continuing to offer City services by phone, email and online.
In White Rock, let’s face the challenge of COVID-19 together as a community. Please check in on seniors who live alone, or offer help to a neighbour. Let’s be the friendly and caring community we have always been. Although we are social distancing, let’s get outdoors and remember to reach out to friends and family using the available technology.”
