Flags at White Rock City Hall are flying at half-mast in honour of Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day on Sunday, September 29. Flags across Canada are flown at half-mast on this national memorial day to honour the lives of police and peace officers lost in the line of duty.
On Monday, September 30, flags will be flying at half-mast in honour of National Day for Truth & Reconciliation until the morning of Tuesday, October 1. National Day for Truth and Reconciliation honours survivors of residential schools and the children who never returned home, as well as their families and communities.
