As of Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, the City of White Rock requires visitors to City buildings to wear a mask. This follows the release Aug. 24, 2021, of a new order from the Provincial Health Officer which requires people 12 and older to wear masks in indoor public settings.
Masks are required in all indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status, to help slow the transmission of COVID-19 as B.C. prepares for the fall and respiratory illness season.
This temporary order will be reassessed as the B.C. vaccine card requirement is fully implemented in certain social and recreational settings, as announced on Aug. 23, 2021.
