The City of White Rock is asking the city’s youngest residents to choose new playground equipment for Emerson Park, a small park in southeast White Rock.
Emerson Park is a neighbourhood park on Columbia Avenue at Lee Street. It serves nearby residents who want to enjoy some greenspace, family time or play time. The playground equipment needs some freshening so a new generation of young people can enjoy it.
Residents of all ages are invited to give their feedback at talkwhiterock.ca/emersonpark. The City especially wants to hear from kids.
The survey is open from Friday, April 23 to Friday, May 28, 2021 and includes photo choices that survey writers can click to choose.
The playground equipment replacement is planned for 2021 and was approved as part of the City’s capital budget for 2020.

“Who better to choose playground equipment for one of our neighbourhood parks than the young people who will use it? Moms, dads and other caregivers, please visit Talk White Rock to complete a survey with images of what we could include in our playground refresh. We can’t wait to see all the great ideas!”
