Volunteering is a great way for residents to get involved, provide input and expertise on important issues and make a positive contribution to our community. The City is currently accepting applications to fill vacancies on the committee below.
ADVISORY DESIGN PANEL
The Advisory Design Panel (the Panel) is appointed to advise Council on the quality of design of the built environment of the City and specifically to provide comments and suggestions to improve applications for development permits as they relate to the form and character of development, including multifamily homes, duplexes and triplexes.
Meetings dates for the Advisory Design Panel have not yet been determined, however, Panel meetings have commonly been held on the third Tuesday of each month from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Three (3) members are sought for appointment until Dec. 31, 2022.
Complete applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2021.
Application Process
- Complete the application form available online at whiterockcity.ca/committees under the City’s Administration Department.
- All applications should include a resume and/or cover letter.
- Applications should be marked to the attention of the Director of Corporate Administration.
The information submitted will be considered by Council as part of the appointment process. Once the decisions have been made, all applicants will be contacted with respect to their submissions.
