Christmas on the Peninsula, Nov. 27
Christmas on the Peninsula returns on Saturday, Nov. 27. Enjoy the outdoor activities including singers, the nativity parade, followed by a Christmas Tree lighting at 4:30 p.m. at Miramar Plaza. Watch the parade, starting at 4 p.m. around Foster St. and Russell Ave. and will run from Johnston Rd. to Thrift Ave.

The 4th Annual Children’s Clothing Drive, Nov. 27
The White Rock RCMP, White Rock Community Policing and Victim Services, and Semiahmoo Community Safety Society are hosting the 4th Annual Children's Clothing Drive at the White Rock RCMP Detachment (15299 Pacific Ave.) on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to support local children and youth in need.
New children's clothing and cash donations are accepted with all donations to go to the Options Community Services & Sources Community Resource Centre. Thank you in advance for your support.

Chanukah by the Bay, Dec. 5
A Little Light Dispels A Lot of Darkness - The Centre for Judaism is hosting the Chanukah by-the-Sea Celebration on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m. at Memorial Park at the White Rock Waterfront (by the White Rock Museum and Archives, 14970 Marine Dr.) There will be a Menorah Lighting, Dignitaries, Chanukah treats, dreidels, music and the Lamplighter Award.
Bright Walk in White Rock - Light Up Event Dec. 10
Bright Walk in White Rock, a new winter light display will start at the White Rock Waterfront at Memorial Park this winter on Dec. 10, 2021. Celebrate the holiday season with friends and neighbours and enjoy the region’s most popular walkways, the White Rock Pier and Promenade lit up with the magic of holiday lights.
The light up event starts at 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 10 at Memorial Park including family-friendly activities, free hot chocolate and treats for all ages.

Eeyore has lost his tail! Can Winnie-the-Pooh, Christopher Robin, Piglet and their friends find it before Christmas? The Surrey Youth Theatre Company and the City of White Rock present its third annual family holiday favorite at the White Rock Community Centre (15154 Russel Ave.)

CANCELLED - Winter Break Skates, Dec 20 – 31
Winter Break Skates is cancelled in accordance to the Public Health Orders as of Dec. 23, 2021
The popular Winter Break Skates at Centennial Arena returns this year Monday to Friday, from Dec. 20 to 31, 2021. Skate to a new holiday-theme everyday during the holiday break.
Centennial Arena at 14600 North Bluff Rd. is offering two skating time options. Family Stick N Puck from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and Family Skate from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. You can pay for one option and stay for both. Please note the arena is closed Dec. 25 – 26, 2021.
Due to COVID-19, the Winter Break Skates will look different this year. All public skating participants 22 years of age and older must show proof of double vaccination to enter the building. Participants can pre-register for each session or pay at the door with Debit or Credit (no cash is accepted).

For those brave enough to venture out into the cold and chilly waters of the Semiahmoo Bay, enjoy the annual icy dip at the waterfront on New Years Day, Jan. 1 at noon, hosted by the White Rock Rotary.
