The City of White Rock is carefully and gradually reopening its Waterfront to residents and visitors, with five food cart vendors approved to begin selling food and drinks at the Waterfront starting July 15.
City Council approved the carts after confirming the vendors have temporary food permits and safety plans. All five businesses are associated with local restaurants or buy their food products from local companies.
The vendors will be in various locations on the Waterfront to ensure that physical distancing can be maintained. With picnic tables provided by the City of White Rock and the White Rock BIA installed in Memorial Park and on the East Beach, Waterfront visitors can enjoy more food options on the beach and have a place to enjoy it with family and friends.
