The City of White Rock, the Kent Street Seniors Society and the Kent Street Table Tennis Activity Group have partnered to offer outdoor table tennis outside of the Kent Street Activity Centre.
On Sept. 28, 2020, White Rock City Council approved the construction of an outdoor table tennis pad to be built west of the auditorium at the City’s Kent Street Activity Centre at a cost of up to $8,000.
The table will cost about $6,325, which is being paid for by the Kent Street Seniors Society and the Kent Street Table Tennis Activity Group.
Construction of the pad is now underway. Outdoor table tennis will be available later in 2020 and can be used year-round.
