Join the City of White Rock for our annual Canada Day by the Bay celebration, presented by Freedom Capital, on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The day will start with a pancake breakfast hosted in Bayview Park, followed by a White Rock RCMP-led community walk along the promenade toward Memorial Plaza where a welcoming ceremony celebrating what it means to be Canadian will be held at noon.
Featured this year is an interactive Kids Zone, presented by Landmark Properties, with free beach games, inflatable obstacle course, toddler area, and more. The promenade will be lined with a vendor marketplace.
Memorial Park will host entertainment and music at the Memorial Park Mainstage including diverse performances from Raincity, Waceya Metis Dancers, Luv Randhawa, and headliner Ten Souljers who will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. The festivities will close out with a fireworks finale, presented by Allure Ventures, at 10:15 p.m. View the fireworks show anywhere along the waterfront.
“Canada Day by the Bay is a White Rock tradition,” said Mayor Megan Knight. “We look forward to hosting this event again this year for a fun-filled day of entertainment and activities for the whole family including a fireworks spectacular to close out the day.”
