The City of White Rock and the City of Surrey are pleased to announce their partnership in the White Rock & South Surrey Culture Crawl. This event, aimed at celebrating the vibrant arts, culture, and heritage of the Peninsula is happening on Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th, 2024. This co-hosted event will showcase art, historical exhibits, music, tours, and theatre. Activities are drop-in and free, except for some ticketed performances.
“We are thrilled to showcase the incredible talent and cultural richness of our community through the White Rock South Surrey Culture Crawl,” said White Rock Mayor Megan Knight. “This event shines a spotlight on the incredible talent within our community, showcasing what makes the Peninsula a vibrant and exceptional place to live, work, and enjoy.”
The White Rock South Surrey Culture Crawl builds off the success of The White Rock Arts Festival Culture Crawl. The cities are now collaborating on the event to further showcase and empower local artists.
“We are delighted to partner with the City of White Rock for the inaugural White Rock & South Surrey Culture Crawl,” said Mayor Brenda Locke. “This collaboration is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and support our local artists, promote cultural diversity, and strengthen the vibrant communities of Surrey and White Rock.”
