On Sunday evening, a stabbing occurred near the White Rock Pier. The White Rock RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance with information that could assist with identifying the suspect. The victim was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services with non-life-threatening injuries.
White Rock RCMP is actively exploring all avenues of investigation to gather necessary evidence to identify, locate and arrest the suspect.
“This incident is deeply concerning” says White Rock Mayor Megan Knight. “While recent events in our community have been distressing, incidents of this nature have not significantly increased over the years. Public safety is our foremost priority.”
